I can't for the life of me figure out why this character exists on the show. Last year it seemed like they were going somewhere with him but this year he serves zero purpose.

this show is really getting on my nerves.

We know he had a powerful affect on Penny last season. Something tells me the witches will use him in due time. In the meantime, he is going to suck off every tranny in London.

I think they're trying to outgay HBO.

Pretty much this.

I love the show, but if I have to watch that again.... I'm out!
I don't mind the gay story line so much, but man I don't need to see all of that.

He's in a gay holding pattern till the figure out how to work him back into the plot.

Yeah, that whole deal with "Angelique" is a big mess. I am confused as to the point as well, other than his tangential relationships with Vanessa and Ethan. He clearly foils John Clare/the Creature in personality, while at the same time steeped in loneliness and depression. While he is outgoing and charming and handsome, John Clare is withdrawn and angry at the world and ugly.
But yeah, last week included necrophilia, homosexual sodomy, awkward face touching, and the idiocy of a man passed his prime. All in all, a ridiculous episode.

Well, he's throwing a ball that all of the characters are invited too. So his purpose this season seems to be a way to get them all in one room together. The repercussions from this happening should be interesting. And if you notice of all the sex scenes that occurred at the end of that episode, Dorian and Angelique's was the only one that was purely consensual. Was it a bit hard to watch? Yes. But the others consisted of a witch raping a man with the power of her filthy cow murder ring and a reanimated corpse screwing a virgin

Frankenstein getting it on was definitely consensual

Awkward, but was definitely still consensual.
And I guess I thought Dorian could still have the ball and have the same impact if he was just he himself that did so. I don't like how they abandoned the repercussions of what happens when Dorian and Vanessa get together for the most part. I'm not put off by the content as much as I am it just kind of seems like a twist for the sake of a twist.
