I mean, why would you name your movie this?

I mean, how could any reasonably educated or informed person not know the answer to your question?

Oh look, another atavistic idiot who always makes this same comment. No doubt you'd fap to an infinite number of rah rah WWII movies.

FWIW, I've heard people talk about who've seen it and even the ones who say they hate the slave genre (including plenty of black people) have said the movie was excellent and will effectively end the genre.

Also, I did hear it did show Nat Turner as not being a good guy. But that may be just hearsay.

Is Birth of a Nation the remake of the 1915 Birth of a Nation?

If I am not mistaken that was my first comment on such a subject.

Damn right. I have read dozens of books on WWII and would eagerly anticipate more films.

Not that many.

And Selma, as far as I can tell, is the only featured telling of an incredibly important episode in American history. Yet when it came out, you and your ilk did the same "not another one of these" routine.
