Season 3 hit Netflix today. For those who haven't seen this show, I suggest watching it. Very solid series IMO.

Anyone else got a gf they can't watch any British/European shows with? It's like she can't spend the extra 10% of effort/concentration to figure out what they're saying and gives up after an episode or two.

I watch all british shows (or any shows with heavy accents) with captions
maybe try that

My wife does fine. I use the closed captioning. Only show I've ever had to do it for. Some of the accents are too much.

I've never had a problem with the accents. I'm ready for work to be done, so I can start watching tonight.

Finished watching the complete season 3 around 9am this morning & all I will say is Holy Hell what an awesome show!!

This. I just figured out how to enable CC on AppleTV and rewatched the final episode of season 2. There is no friggin' way I could understand one thing Alfie Solomon said without CC.
The day at the races isn't so foggy to me now.

I just despise subtitles. I know I probably miss some things, but I'd rather miss some than have subtitles.

Basically British Boardwalk Empire, if it was all about Jimmy, Jimmy never fricked his mom, and they don't do that HBO things where nothing happens except the last 10 minutes.

I finished I last night. I had been watching the UK streams the past few weeks so I had to watch 5 and 6 on Netflix.
Solid ending. I feel like much didn't really happened this season, to be honest.
