I've attemped to watch it a few times. If only they would have spent like $1000 on a narrator. The narrator they hired sounds like a guy they found on the street.

I like his style... this is a fifteen part series and some over-the-top amazement at every development in film history would have gotten boring pretty fast.

his accent is cool but his speech patterns, pauses, etc crack me up

its the guy who wrote the book the series is based on, Mark Cousins. very annoying how every sentence ends like question.
cant recommend the book enough though. its a great read and, obviously, much more detailed than the series.
