It's a terrible movie but in " Ready to Rumble " he has one of the best lines ever and I still randomly say it, " Well what are you going to do.. Boob 'em to death ?"

Agree. Loved him in Fargo, but I love everyone in Fargo. He was also very good in Pieces of April, an obscure and underrated movie with Katie Holmes and Patricia Clarkson. They all did the film for around $250/day salary.

he is a great choice for an "underrated actor" thread. i've never thought "why the frick did they cast oliver platt in this role" when i finished a movie.



this thread reminded me of this movie i had almost forgotten about. need to re-watch.

We can't forgot about "Don't Say a Word," either. Or as the southern gentlemen in "A Time to Kill."

The back-and-forths between him and the guy from "Braveheart" are great in "Lake Placid."
