I do like the occasional good, well written one, though.
Huh? Whuh? I don't git it.
Yeh, I used to watch tons of horror movies but have lost interest in most of them (especially those in a series) over the last several years. Not sure why. Not enough inventiveness or something?
"the gods" are the viewing audience
"the gods" get angry when the horror movie isn't the same formulaic type of horror movie
"the gods" getting angry = you hating the ending
have you seen insidious? I think that's a really good one, even though the first half is MUCH better than the 2nd half
quote:That was a reference to The Evil Dead. The girl gets raped by a tree in that movie.
Further demonstrating my retardation on the subject, what was the "raping tree" reference?
quote:it's got some really legit scary scenes
actually, that's one i've been interested in. i'll take a look at it.
it's kind of funny that since it didn't end the way you wanted, you then criticize the concept of the ancient gods, who were upset the way the movie within the movie ended...
Me and my buddy paused it on the white board to see how many horror movies we recognized.
if you thought CITW was "awful", your opinion on movies is dog shite. complete dogshit
if you thought CITW was "awful", your opinion on movies is dog shite. complete dog shite I disagree
My comments were a bit exaggerated when I said "frickin awful",
It could have been an ok movie without the fluff and bull shite at the end
it does help if you have a good working knowledge of the horror genre
