So JMac and Steve were alone for a split second, and JMac asked if he wanted to flip the vote since it is going to be basically a chance HOH comp, and if the Austwins win one of them will be going up with James. Liz walked up and the game talk ended before they could discuss it further. But as soon as that ended, guess where Steve went...straight up to Vanessa. Now Julia was up there, so Steve didn't say anything, but he told Vanessa he has something to talk to her about (she got called to the DR). I'm guessing Steve is about to blab to Vanessa about what JMac suggested.

Doesn't mean he was going to rat out Johnny Mac. He could have been going to make a pitch to evict Julia. Although that is less likely

He was talking to himself while he was up in the HOH room waiting on Vanessa as to what he should do. He said to himself that he needs to keep JMac as long as possible, so voting to keep Meg might be the best move. He is definitely thinking about it. I just hope he isn't dumb enough to let Vanessa in on it because she'll probably nip that in the bud

Steve says he thinks Van could trust JMac 100%. Van says she was prepared for the vote to flip and could adapt to either result. She still seems to favor Meg going.
Steve says he'd only enact this plan if Vanessa decides it's good for them. Vanessa asks if he'd be doing it behind Austin's back. Steve says no, he'd seek his blessing. Vanessa asks how Steve would feel breaking his word to Julia. Steve says he'd hate it a lot.

Once again, you can't have a real conversation with Vanessa. Because EVERYTHING will be taken out of context and she can't take point black criticism. It's really fricking sad that she made it this far in the game. She's not that great of a game player. It's the fact that she's in a house with brain dead competitors.

She does make some good arguments. The reason she wants Meg out is because she sensed over the last few weeks that Austin likes James & Meg and would've ended up working with them since they aren't as much of a threat to win the final comps like Vanessa and Steve would be. So if Steve takes out Julia now, then Liz & Austin would be pissed and target Steve & JMac while working closer to James & Liz, and would probably then turn on her.
