Jackie was the one pushing for Vanessa going up. James seemed to be joking when he said he was considering it (he had said 15 minutes earlier he was keeping the noms the same).
Shelli's loyalty to Vanessa is why she and Clay are in this deep. If she pins last week on Vanessa instead of Austin, I think there's a chance. Instead, she outed Six Sense without trying to.

watched last night's ep on my lunch break today. Love the way this is heading. I never would have thought a james/meg/jackie faction could flip the power but it looks like that's what's happening. I don't have any idea where jmac and steve fit in.

It look like at this moment, Julia wants to vote out Clay while Liz looks to be leaning towards Shelli and Austin says he doesn't know yet (although they are flip flopping on it). Those three will decide who goes home this week because they will probably vote as a block.
ETA: JMac will vote out Clay if that is what Clay wants, as will Vanessa. Becky might also.

I had forgot Steve was in the game until someone brought up his name a little while ago. Who is his closest friend in the house? I'm surprised someone like him can even get cast.

I hate Shelli, but I almost want her to stay if it is revealed that she outed the alliance. Austin and the twins will shun her. Vanessa will and as a result so will JMac, Steve, and Becky. James, Meg, and Jackie don't like her. Cry Shelli cry!!!

Ian was at least a superfan that had SOME semblance of social play. Sure he was nerdy and awkward, but he at least befriended some of the major players in the house. Steve seems largely worthless and will only end up going far because he's so much of an afterthought nobody will bother kicking him out earlier.

Agree, but some of those mumbles were way overblown.
One was talking with food in his mouth (impolite sure, but not like he was necessarily mumbling incoherently) and one was him collecting his thoughts while in the DR. I mumble little things to myself a lot like that, then again I don't have a camera on me though.

I don't know. I mean unless CBS was just goofing us, some of that was pure gibberish. It wasn't someone making coherent thoughts to themself.
