I have no clue how Norm convinced him to come on the show, but this has to be the most ridiculous guest he's ever played off of. Haven't seen it yet, but if it's anything per the norm (no pun intended) then it should be hilarious.

his name isn't Caitlyn, it's Bruce and he's one of the greatest Olympic heroes of all time

You can change your name. Sex is different.

I'm going through the podcast now. Gilbert Godfried was the best so far.

I watched it on Youtube. Not sure why . . . I've never had any inclination whatsoever in hearing anything from that dude/dudette/whatever.

But I'll tell you, Norm did a great job in the interview, he had great (researched) questions, and seems genuinely interested in the answers.

Jenner talked about transitioning - I didn't know this started with him/her a loooong time ago. He actually had his beard removed in the 80s. I didn't know that he/she is still a Republican (and knows Trump). They talked sports, golf, and you get the feeling he/she still likes women, even romantically.

Strange interview. I wanted to turn it off, but to be honest, it was fascinating to watch. I learned some things I didn't know.

Anyway, like I mentioned, Norm played it straight and was (surprisingly) quite good at it. He did give Jenner a kiss on the hand at the end - which felt a bit awkward.

Norm played it straight
This is disappointing. Because I honestly have no interest in anything that or any of the other members have the Kardashian freakshow has to say. The only possible way I would enjoy this show is if Norm sarcastically mocked him/her/it the whole time. Kinda like Letterman did with a couple of the girls when they appeared on his show. Thanks for the info--Now I know to skip this episode.

I listened (not watched) to this podcast episode the other day.

I thought it was incredibly interesting. I had one opinion of Jenner before and a totally different one after. I expected someone with wild undertones of crazy, but instead heard someone who seemed very confident, comfortable, and pretty self aware, even acknowledging some of the absurdity of the whole situation.

Norm played it exactly right. He's an excellent interviewer. He always appropriately adjusts the tone and mood to the guest that he has.

He's scratching his own itch of turning it into a talk show. The last show with the impressionist was unwatchable. I want funny interviews and jokes. 9/11 WAS a national tragedy.
