I guess it's not every one's cup of tea.

I liked it. Not incredible by any means, but I thought Gyllenhall fricking murdered the role.

Edit: I work in the media, so maybe that's another reason why I liked it.

So I should just read a two year old thread instead of asking anyone if they've seen this recently?

They completely changed his origin story. I thought he was in the circus? I can understand him not being blue because that's weird but he could have at least used his powers a few times.

Watched it last night. A part of me was hoping Bill Paxton's character wouldve came back into the picture and do something like beat the living shite out of JG's character and film it.

The atmosphere and the acting of the film makes it a 3.5-4/5 for me.

I liked it a lot. Gyllenhaal had a great performance, and the movie said something thought provoking and relevant to the times. It was also just fun as a thriller.

I can't remember overall how good the movie was, but (spoilers) the setup by the director that led to him being outside the restaurant knowing in advance a crime might happen was truly masterful.

I liked it. Wasn't Gyllenhalls best work. Donnie Darko still holds that.
