It's basically the terrible version of Good Times that John Amos and Esther Rolle said the show was becoming in the 70s.

The PJs got 44 episodes and 3 seasons on two different networks and is currently on Hulu, Tubi, and Fubo. It was canceled b/c it ratings didn't justify the cost to make it. By the end Eddie Murphy was so over it they had to hire a different guy to do Thurgood's voice in case Eddie didn't feel like recording.

They cancelled the Boondocks for this?

It’s written by black people!

If black viewers don’t like it then perhaps black viewers should stop acting like that everyday. Just a thought

It looks more Bebe's Kids than Good Times

Wow this looks like some bad family guy and boondocks crossover without any of the quality writing or self awareness

The wife and I have been watching this. It’s actually pretty clever with a lot of subversive elements to it. The trailer doesn’t convey how the show really is.

They forced the cancellation of Eddie Murphy's brilliant the PJs, and they are going to allow this crap?

You mean the show that was on 25 years ago? The one that got multiple seasons and was really expensive to produce?

Spike Lee call The PJs offensive.
