I was unaware of your Seinfeld hatred. I thought the show structure was a lot like John Kennedy Toole's use of multi-plot climactic convergence in Confederacy of Dunces. I loved how all of the subplots came together at the end of each episode.

My brother hated it, though, mostly because he thought George and Elaine were annoying.

Does this show have to be a comedy? I think a post-apocalyptic drama that takes place after the super-volcano eruption would be interesting. Society would be crippled and different factions would compete for supremacy. Cannibalism. Thunderdomes. I'd watch.

Yeah, I've tried to watch episodes before, but got disinterested. I've seen one or two though, and parts of several more.

I think overhype is the biggest thing...all I ever heard was how it was THE funniest show EVER and all that. So once I finally caught some of it, it wasn't living up to that (at all) and I thought it was terrible.

Seriously, almost everybody I know loves it though.

Can't believe this thread fell to the second page.

Figured with all the tv gurus on here, we'd be more pumped to discuss this than have three different discussions about a "show about dicks."

Awesome. I have business travel all weekend so I'll be in planes and airports. For some reason, that's high creative time for me. So expect to hear back Friday night.

Not to mention, if you don't like that idea, we can always do Downton Abbey in a trailer park.

Honestly, would make good satire. Like Soap back in the day.
