Haven't watched S3E3 yet, but plan to tonight. The first two have been amazing. Some of the best TV I've ever seen. Possibly even better than season 1. I'm glad I powered through the first half of S2. It wasn't great but it set the stage for Elliot's relationship (or lack thereof) with Mr. Robot in S3.
Time travel would mean remaining in the same dimension but altering the 4th dimensional parameter that is time. Changing higher level dimensional parameters would jump you between dimensions. That's where the Mandela effect comes into play. Theory is that the LHC has destroyed our original universe, but since energy and matter cannot be destroyed, everything moved to the nearest dimension which was very similar to our original. The differences we notice are the Mandela Effect.
