Movies that you've seen and can't stop thinking about afterwards?

I saw "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" about a week ago and haven't stopped thinking about it since.

The only one recently that has done this is Inglorious Basterds.

Most recently for me was An Education. I was fascinated with it. I did some research and read the original article the movie was based on. I didn't know it was a true story when I was watching and finding that out made it even more interesting to me.
And Alfred Molina is greatness. Love him so much.

Even through I can't tell you exactly why:

Star Wars sort of permeated my entire childhood. Outside of that, I'd say the Matrix, I had seen many variations of rise of the machines before, but the copper top angle was a new one for me.
I also have been effected by Food, Inc. and have been reading labels more and more conscious of where my food comes from, although I'm not sure that's the type of obsessing you're referring to.

I thought about this damn movie for the longest time after I saw it!

Most Coen Bros films have that effect on me, even the comedies.
I still use quotes from Raising Arizona all the time! Miller's Crossing, too.
And don't give me "the high hat" if you disagree!

Recently Shutter Island was like this.
Not to spoil anything, but the end definitely left it open to viewer interpretation. Did a good amount of thought and conversation about this with my friends.

Meh. I thought so at first after a thread on here it is pretty clear.

The movie, or really just a scene, that affected me the most was the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. I watched it when I was about the same age of the most of the young men that stormed the beach, and I couldn't imagine what it would have been like if I was in that situation. I couldn't get out of my head how many young men my age died and how I would have reacted if I would have on that beach that day.

Taxi Driver for me. The first time I saw it I actually watched it again about an hour later.

All the more artsy films I watch. I can always tell that it was a great movie when I'm wondering about it later and it slowly starts to sink and I can't wait to watch it again. To me, that separates the truly great movies from the good ones.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I was depressed for two days after watching this movie.

I wouldn't recommend wtaching Lilya 4-Ever then. You might just completely lose your mind.
