Dont know what got me thinking about this. For a movie to ONLY be remembered because of a song that came from the movie. Meaning it has to be a really popular song, and a pretty bad movie at the same time

The only one I can think of is the lemon drop kid..which honestly isn't a bad movie just old..is where the Christmas song silver bells came from. Lemond drop kid was a hell of a race horse too kn the late 90s. Costed charismatic the triple crown. He's also (loosely) related to rachel alexendra

O don't consider im bout it a real movie. Ib4 its real to me meme

Endless Love is a good one, because boy did that movie suck.

But I've always been partial to the opening theme to Private School

Disney is lucky Frozen had such good music. Everything else about the film from the animation to the script was pretty bad.

Frozen is basically softcore hentai porn for pubescent teenage boys. That movie could have been a two hour movie version of africa the song as long as elsa was in it and it would have been a hit.

Do u want to build a snownan and let it go do go hard tho

Vision Quest --> the song was Only the Young by Journey

Now, I enjoyed the movie because who doesn't love a movie about a high school wrestler, but I'm guessing most people have long forgotten this Matthew Modine classic.

ETA: Technically, I'm not aware if the song was "produced" for the movie, but it certainly was featured in the film, and is inexorably linked.

Movie --> Ruthless People
Song --> Modern Woman by Billy Joel

I bit of a stretch as neither are very memorable, but the song had way more staying power than the movie.

That's funny. I've always associated that movie with "Crazy For You " by Madonna

I've always associated the song Iris by Goo Goo Dolls to City of Angels. Not necessarily because it's a bad movie (made almost $200m at the box office) but I've just always put those two together

Annie is a musical, so I guess it's kind of necessarily remember because of the songs that came with it. But it's full of many songs like that. It's kind of full of a bunch of songs beyond just Hard Knock Life. It's kind of the biggest musical of all time. I don't even like musicals, and I'm pretty familiar with a lot of it.

Song: Lux Aeterna
Movie: Requiem FAD

Not that the movie is bad. I love Mansell, but I'm not sure these arenas and stadiums would be playing Lux if the movie it came from was well known. That ending is effing brutal and Mansell made the movie by tying it together with Lux.
