I can't believe that hasn't been thought of yet.
I like the black and white but not really crazy about the logo, that's why I voted against it.
Stout's logo is perfect for Godfather's black and white scheme and that is a winning combo IMO.

How about instead of just flat black we do a dark smoke color and do the Tiger part in Oscar Gold?

I don't hate that and I do like the Goonies font but shouldn't we throw something on the logo that makes it look a little more movieish?

That looks great! I would vote for it but can we try flat black with tiger part in oscar gold? I think flat black would bring out the gold IMO.

Now that your logo is on black, you can't see the supports behind the letters. Is that fixable?

You can see it if you look. It's subtle but it's there. I made it black and the main color a smoke. There's enough contrast that when it would get put up you could see it better.
