I would have to extend that honor to the movie Splice.

I can just imagine all of the unsuspecting people on date night in the audience for that one.

Cinderella.

Slave girl uses witchcraft to seduce prince with a foot fetish.

IDK how mainstream it was, but Antichrist was pretty messed up.

I think Se7en will always be the standard for this.

Cabin in the Woods is the most recent.

I saw Cinderella. Picturing her getting pounded by the prince got me through it.

Was Human Centipede mainstream? If so, that one.

This. It was hard for me to watch. Just too extreme/over the top by design and no, I don't don't the realism of the portrayal.

I wouldn't think so.

I consider mainstream to be
something starring big names that a more general group of audience would be inclined to see.

Wolf of Wall Street and Se7en, yes.

Human Centipede, not so much.

The Hills Have Eyes (2006). Recently, I fell asleep on the couch watching something else. I woke up to Brenda's bloodcurdling screams during the rape scene.

Waking up to that movie, not being prepared for it at all (I had no idea it was coming on after what I was watching), was incredibly disturbing. Intense depravity.
