This couldn't be better casting. She seems to get more beautiful as she ages to me. Also the news of Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins is great as well. Ant-Man was a great movie- very fun with a lot of heart. It even pulled off the gargantuan task of not making Michael Douglas an a-hole- but lucky the character called for a little of it and he was- dare I say it- charming. Paul Rudd was great and I liked Evangeline Lilly's take on Hope Van Dyne with a little attitude.

I always kind of felt that the original Wasp Janet Van Dyne got the short end of the stick in the MCU. She was a founding member of the Avengers and although I've always loved Black Widow-having her be a founding Avenger is kind of like putting Catwoman on the Justice League- cool to see, but only as a guest star. I get that Widow was an easier character to introduce on film in Iron Man 2, but still wanted to see Janet there. But Pfieffer is going to be great and the character is going to be given its due.

They couldn't think of a better title for this movie?

Is Pfeiffer even Anglo-Saxon?

I'm intrigued because Ghost is one of the nastier villains Marvel has, but so little is known about him (or her in this case)

In fact, Marvel has never even given the character a real name.

I wonder what the chances are of Tony Stark showing up somewhere in this. It seems like they could easily use Stark Industries or Hammer as the corp. that the ghost tech comes from in the MCU. Hammer should be in jail though. So maybe it's a project to give Tony's suit a cloaking ability? I'm just interested in seeing how they introduce the character and what the motivation will be, especially if it will be opposite any sort of attempted retrieval of Janet from the quantum realm.
I'm just thinking out loud and likely way off base...

The ghost suit can phase through solid matter as well.

Right. I'm just theorizing in the MCU it starts as a cloaking project, not that that's all it can do.

I can see that. The cloaking project is what was used on the helicarrier in Avengers, the Zephyr in Agents of SHIELD, and on the C-5 in Spider-Man Homecoming.

I can imagine that they've attempted to develop a phasing technology based upon Vision's physiology.

Fishburne's role in the MCU is significantly larger than it is in DC. Pun absolutely intended.

Pretty sure he's safe from a any potential problems that would be created from a cross over.

I thought using the Lego version would also be funny
Honest question: Disney being Disney, if they go the Black Goliath route and he isn't just a doctor in whatever corporation, do they drop the Black and just call him Goliath?
