I saw in an interview where he said something along the lines he thinks he got the role on Agent Carter b/c Joss liked working with him on The Avengers.

Finally caught up.
I will say the first half of Agent Carter has been head and shoulders above SHIELD (although SHIELD is also pretty great now). Just a great show that keeps things moving, and the audience guessing. Good cameos all around and the action is a lot of fun. And the comedy generally works as Carter and Jarvis have solid chemistry.

fricking ACC basketball game is preempting the viewing here. They've pushed it to 2 am and last time they did that it wasn't on.
