because they're out of step

quote:

David Benioff told Vanity Fair:

quote:

Last year we went out to Santa Fe for a week to sit down with him [Martin] and just talk through where things are going, because we don’t know if we are going to catch up and where exactly that would be. If you know the ending, then you can lay the groundwork for it. And so we want to know how everything ends. We want to be able to set things up. So we just sat down with him and literally went through every character.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they get ahead of the books then he changes the ending of the books so it won't fit the show.

The show is being rushed along by a number of factors, I’d suppose, from the maturation of the cast to the need to feed HBO with regular content. Meanwhile, George RR Martin will be held back by by the fact he's a fat lazy bastard.

If the show gets ahead of the books and finishes before the books are published, what's the point in him writing the final books if they just end the same way? I guarantee he will change the ending if that happens.

Don't know Box. I don't keep up with GOT behind the scene's shite much. The article implied this was some new info so I brought it here.

I know at the very least he discussed Jon Snow's lineage with the actor who plays Theon back when the show started. He talked about it in a interview.

Way to show those book reading nerds. Comics are easier anyway due to the pictures.
