Shooter

Shooter is one of my favorite Wahlberg movies. I also enjoy Michael Pena, so that movie was a perfect recipe for my enjoyment.

The Other Guys was great.

I really liked him in 3 kings, 4 Brothers, the Big Hit and really liked the Italian Job.

Mark is awesome. The Happening is the exception, not the rule.

Contraband
Broken City
Pain & Gain
The Lovely Bones
Invincible
We Own the Night
MAX PAYNE
Planet of the Apes
Rock Star

It seems like his good movies are more the exception.

Every single one of these are pretty good, with the exception of Rock Star.

It was great.

I'll give you Invincible as an alright film. The rest of those movies are bad.

I respect your opinion, but none of those are outright bad.

Wahlberg movies that are good are good in spite of him more often than not.

This. For whatever reason, I've never liked MW...always thought he was a shitty actor. But I know TONS of people who like/love him though.

Dude. Contraband, Broken City, and Max Payne are terrible movies.

Pain & Gain wasn't good, but I can understand where people who enjoyed are coming from, I suppose.

Lovely Bones was quite bad.

We Own the Night wanted to be good. It had the look and feel of a good movie, but the script and direction blew. Very similar to Gangster Squad in that regard.

Planet of the Apes - "Hey look at all of these cool sets. Aren't they neat? What do you mean, story? We have fun sets!"

Rock Star - A game of "Count the Cliches"

I only like him as a comedic actor. That's not true really. But he is at his best in comedic roles. He has an inherent funniness. So much so, that it takes away from his serious roles.

His character in I heart Huckabees is so fricking good.
