looks like no one is focused or gives a shite about work so far other than Pete. Like someone said earlier I hope they pull some big clients and get back on track.

BTW, Crane has definitely slimmed down. And if he keeps up the semi-swag he had in the first episode, he's going to be hilarious to watch this season.

FWIW, turn on AMC right now and you get the sexpot dance. Do it now.

Let me add Peggy's BF is pretty cool. He know's what's actually going on, but isn't all hippy/rebellious and shite. They're a good pair.
This cracked me up.

I don't understand how roger still has a lot of cash when the rest seem to be struggling
Don isn't struggling. The apartment and car made that clear.
Don, Roger, and Coop got pretty massive sums of money during the buyout.
Pete couldn't afford his partner's contribution last season, but Don covered it. Otherwise he'd be broke as a joke too.
I assume that it about cleaned Lane out to pay his portion. I didn't really consider a more sinister reason for his lack of funds.

I hope they aren't setting up Roger for another failed marriage.

June 1 on a Tuesday. It's 1965.
oh really?

Much of the recent coverage of the return of “Mad Men” has celebrated the show’s scrupulous attention to 1960’s detail. On Monday, TV reporters got a sense of how seriously the show’s creator, Matthew Weiner, takes that obligation.
Mr. Weiner sent out an e-mail revealing that thanks to some highly granular viewing by the show’s fan base — in this case, the television critics and writers who received advance copies of the two-hour premiere set for Sunday — he is substituting a song played in the show.
The song is “The Look of Love” by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, which was first released in January 1967. Mr. Weiner in his e-mail acknowledged that “a few” of the early viewers had pointed out that a band plays the song in an episode that takes place six months earlier.
The show is set in late spring, which, given Mr. Weiner’s comments, means the year is 1966.
Other producers might be content to offer an “oops” and say the mistimed song was an honest mistake. Not Mr. Weiner.
In his e-mail message he writes: “Because of this we have replaced this song with one more suited to the time period and you, along with our audience, will hear it for the first time during our March 25 broadcast. Although we take license for artistic purposes with the end-title music, we never want the source music to break from the time period we are trying to recreate.”

This is consistent with the fact that Don and Sally saw the Beatles at Shea Stadium late in season four... that concert took place in August of '65.

Based on your response, you are a Don Draper, along with 10% of those who have taken this quiz. With a rye cocktail and fitted suit, you'd have the debonaire style of Mad Men's leading man.
