Mad Max: Fury Road my favorite movie of the past 20 years

In terms of the excitement, awe, anticipation, and sheer epic badass whiteknuckle experience that I had in the theatre when watching this movie.
I don't see how any other movie released this year will top Fury Road.

I think I agree with you! I've been thinking about it for a while trying to remember a better movie experience. Since it's taken me this long and I still haven't thought of the better movie experience...Mad Max wins!

I loved it
On the bluray, there's an option to watch it in black and white with no sound except for the music. Miller said it's how he dreamed to have released it. can't wait to watch it like that.

thought it was good but definitely overrated. Had less plot than TMNT and the main character was even Max.

My friends hated this movie, but I agree with you. If the thing about the Blu-Ray with no sound but music is true, I literally cannot freaking wait

I've come to the opinion this is the greatest action movie ever made. I think it would work wonderfully as a silent film. Can't wait for the Blu Ray now.

Its not even the best movie of the year 6 months in, ex machina has that honor.
I thoroughly enjoyed it though and would watch the bluray with no dialog. It doesn't need dialog.

I couldn't find anything I didn't love about it as an action movie. As close to perfect as an action movie as I've ever seen and I'm much looking forward to the sequel.

It was quite a watch. A bit over the top obviously, but I think that's a given with the genre. The production and delivery was excellent. Not sure how I would rank it but it was awesome.
