I know some weren't a fan of the final season end and the finale of Lost. I thought his crew did a fantastic series end.

I haven't met a Fringe fan he was ecstatic with the final season and the finale.

POI is really hitting it out of the park in their final season and is looking like the ending will be epic. Maybe JJ is on to something with the shortened final seasons.

Abrams was barely involved with Lost by the time it ended, that was mainly Lindelof and Cuse. I'm one of the few that liked how Lost ended, and I'm hoping The Leftovers will have a satisfying series finale as well.

Back on topic,

That short final season for Fringe really did a great job holding the momentum until the finale. That season had no "filler" episodes and each week significantly advanced the plot. It was really great TV.

The final POI season has been taking the same path so far. It really is satisfying when a show you are invested in goes out with a bang!

SPOILERS BELOW

It was pretty cool how Reese thought he was being watched the whole time only to learn the machine had recruited others to work the numbers.

The best touch so far has been Root's death and then the Machine using her voice to include her distinct way of delivering her lines. U knew someone was going to die but the show figured out a way to have them live on.

This. And you say barely, but was he even involved at all at that point? I thought he got out of Lost fairly early on.

And Fringe had an awesome finale, but that last season was pretty weak. Awesome show though. No doubt.

This, but Abrams had nothing to do with the ending of LOST.

Love all the "call backs" happening in POI during this final run.

Was one of the best things about the Fringe finale as well.

Agreed! I assume more cameos are coming and I would expect to see Carter in one of the last 2.

I liked the last season. Didn't realize I was in minority.

Abrams did come up with the final scene.

There's a lot wrong with it. I still enjoyed the hell out of it, and S5 has arguably the best scene in the entire series (the Yazoo scene), but there were some downright stupid/nonsense things that happened throughout S5.

You should've participated in the rewatch thread, bruh (or maybe you did...I know not many did ).

We like the ending of Lost too. With the complex story-line Lost had going on, they wrapped it up quite nicely. Now if some fan spent hours upon hours trying to figure out a show that's built on mystery. They themselves choose to waste endless hours of trying to figure out a show that was meant to keep you guessing the whole time. No one forced them to do all that! We just enjoyed the ride and where ever that took us in the end. That was that, but that's probably why we enjoyed the ending more than others did.

Always wanted to watch Fringe.
It looks very interesting.

I disagree. I thought the ending was great. Not what I was expecting, but great.

I've watched Fringe 3 times. Probably gonna watch it all again soon. Fantastic show all the way through.

One of the best, if not the best endings to a series.

I guess that I didn't get it either. I wasn't the
only one.
