Spoilers....

Okay, specifically injuries and mortality.

In MoS, Superman is able to kill Zod by breaking his neck. With no Kryptonite in sight. So, clearly, trauma causing a snapped neck can kill a Kryptonian.

Yet, in BvS, Superman is blasted point blank by a nuclear warhead, and survives. Then he gets impaled by a huge spike, with Kryptonite mere feet away.

And he obviously will survive. His cells can heal and regenerate without Kryptonite present. Right?

Why didn't Zod heal? Will Doomsday's injury heal if Kryptonite isn't kept on him?

Yes, I know it's just entertainment. But I hate sloppy writing. BvS set a precedent that Superman is absolutely invincible. But none of the other Kryptonians are?

Unless I'm missing something?

Maybe Zod just needed some sunshine.

Or maybe the spinal cord on a kryptonite is still a weak spot and vulnerable to another super being.

Maybe he's stronger because he's spent a lifetime of absorbing energy from a yellow sun?

Didn't Doomsday's spike go through Superman's chest/spine?

I mean, they aren't immortal. Russell Crowe was stabbed and killed by a non-kryptonite weapon.

They can inflict harm on each other due to their strength.

Superman is also SuperKrypto because he contains all the DNA codex from Krypton.

Super powered khryptonians fighting each other is no different than humans fighting each other.

Because Doomsday is even stronger than Superman and more made of material tougher than Superman.

Because his neck was snapped and his heart stopped permanently and killed brain activity. There's not enough cells to heal all of that.

Yellow sun powered kryptonians can live millions to hundreds of thousands of years though.

Or they live as long as the sun stays yellow until it eventually turns red with old age.

If it is comic book Doomsday, he just gets reborn and even stronger. No telling with this shitty BvS crap show.

Honestly, it was a pretty flawless movie, not sure why people look for little things to nitpick.
