More specifically lets talk about how shitty it is. Their line up for the upcoming season is about as unappealing as a colonoscopy. You've got NCIS and all 400 of its spin offs, the abomination that is Big Bang Theory, shitty reality shows and a fricking MacGyver reboot. Lets also not forget that oh so intriguing drama about Dr. Phil's early career starring the fat old guy from NCIS.

The only saving grace CBS had was Limitless and now word is that its being shopped around because CBS wants another Kathrine fricking Hiegle show.

The only show they ordered to pilot for next season that seems even a little interesting is the Training Day pilot. Odds are though that even if it is good they'll frick its viewership numbers by scheduling episodes two or three weeks apart and cease any and all promotion after a week or two.

CBS is dead to me, I'll use illegal streaming sites to watch their SEC games this season.

And yes I'm mad

And on top of that they are showing the pilot episode of the new Star Trek, then you have to use their online service to watch the rest of the series.

They can choke on a big bag of dicks.

If it's any good I will pirate the show with pride.

And perhaps their best show, Limitless, likely to be canned while a lot of other crap gets renewed. I don't understand it. Never will. I guess I just don't enjoy what the average viewer watches in droves.

That's the thing though, the Nielson system doesnt accurately show what the average viewer is watching. More and more people are opting not to watch live TV now that services like Hulu and Netflix are becoming more and more prevalent. So shows like Limitless, Almost Human, and more genre shows don't seem to be doing as well because people watch them two or three days after they've aired.

That's why CBS is "America's most watched network". They cater to an older crowd, a crowd that is less inclined to watch shows on hulu or netflix. They get all the old farts that tune in every night to see Mark Harmon's glorious acting.

Life in Pieces is one of the better family sitcoms on tv, but I'm an idiot who likes The Big Bang Theory

Never watched life in pieces, but i agree with you on BBT. I feel like it has become a show that has become popular for people to hate on, but i enjoy it for what it is. Plus it's the only Thursday show i watch.

I do still watch NCIS every week (none of the spin-offs though). It's not as great as it was in the first few seasons, but i think it's still good.

OP, where did you hear that about Limitless? I agree it is definitely their best show currently. I hope it gets renewed.

Lofe in Pieces is great, I hope it comes back in the fall. I like most of the episodes of BBT as well, though Howard marrying Bernadette killed a great pervert in Howard that was so fun to watch.
