Nothing exciting happened and the villain was pretty cheesy.

Yeah...just like every MCU since Age of Ultron.

I wouldn't lump Vulture in with Ego, Jellowjacket, and those other guys.

Wasn't horrible, but I just found it boring. Could simply be comic book movie burnout on my part.

The 1st part on the island and CG fight at the end were cringeworthy. Middle section was pretty entertaining when she entered the war.

When she's being serious, she may need a little work, but she is difficult to look away from...
Kinda like the Melissa gal that plays Supergirl, cameras love those two

Melissa Benoist, yes she of the full penetration posed pictures, doesn't pull off strong dramatic scenes very well but she's great in everything else.

The CW shows are built around actors who can do one or two things very well but flounder if you get out of their safe zones. And that is fine. Gal Gadot can do a couple of things very well but don't push her out of her safe zone because right now as an actress she can't pull it off.

She is still capable of headlining a fun and entertaining movie. You don't cast Gal Gadot in a role that Chloe Grace Moretz could pull off... but you don't need to. Put her in a role she can pull off and she's golden.

I liked it, but it was basically CA: First Avenger, but with a hot chick.

Watched with the family over the weeknd and we were all very disappointed. My wife loves action movies, and she tried to get us to turn it off after an hour. We decided to see it through, so she went to sleep. Wasn't horrible, but it was the typical cookie-cutter superhero flick. I thought it was too reminiscent of Captain America with the retro story. The best thing about it was the music (i.e., the song used in Batman vs. Superman when she makes her appearance) and they didn't even milk that enough. Very disappointing after all the hype I've read.
