finally got around to watching Coherence. really enjoyed it but its one of those frustrating movies where you have to pause it to unpack everything going on.

i needed a pen and paper to follow along after awhile...

Wow, did you ever think in your life you would see a Mercedes fit in inside the trunk of a Cadillac?

lol. How random. As a strange coincidence, I was thinking about this movie the other day. In an otherwise slight movie, there was one sequence that was so brilliantly done: When Haim sells out his dad to give Mercedes a lift, only to return to find his dad walking all the way home with the groceries/diapers. The peer pressure, the guilt, the disappointment, the pity.

ETA: Found the scene

Banshees of Inisherin.

I’ve started watching RRR on Netflix and it seems pretty bad arse but I have barely gotten into it. Decided to stop and save it for this weekend since it is 3+ hours long. Never seen a Bollywood film and this one seems to be getting a lot of attention. (Not sure if it is actually Bollywood or just Bollywoodesque)

Lots of mentions here. Will add.

Was The Batman 2022? It was pleasantly surprising.

Before that I really liked Baby Driver.

All the new movies are so woke they dont even care if they are actually any good anymore. Seems like a lot of movies are watchable, some are pretty good. But Really Good?………….not much the past few years.

Once Upon a Time in the West

Holy shite, how have I gone so many years of my life without ever seeing it. This is clearly one of the best westerns ever made. It’s the gold standard.
