definitely a change of tone from the first trailer
but I like that they are actually going to show Kong a lot
and hey, its a monster movie about a giant gorilla, why can't it fun too?

Wow, they showed a lot of Kong in this trailer.
I understand the criticism that Godzilla didn't show enough of the monster in the final film, but as far as a movie trailer, I feel like less is usually more.

Why do helicopter pilots in movies act like it's impossible to fly higher than 300 feet?
Happy to see Sheriff Eli Thompson.
Having some humor in the movie gives me hope.
Need to see Godzilla step in a t the end and form a tag-team partnership with Kong against those big bads.

I like both trailers despite their different tone.
Seeing Reilly made me wish he was Wreck It Ralph since King Kong was his the inspiration for that character. Ralph vs. Kong, then like a Godzilla movie, they're forced to team up to fight a more dangerous foe (those skull monster things).
