So Batman is again surrounded by super heroes. Does he take the minute chance that those superheroes won't destroy the world? He obviously has no choice but to kill them.

No dude some guy said his mom's name so he's besties with super heroes now.
Since they've already wiped their asses with the source material, you know what would be an amazing ending? If after they kill Steppenwolf, Batman triggers a trap and it kills all of the Justice League, and the he turns to Alfred and says even 1%. And the credits roll.

what is the point of that? why does everything have to be so devoid of color in the DC movies. It was great to see something visually appealing in Wonder Woman. Outside of the final scene in Wonder Woman, most of the movie felt like it happened during the day. Suicide Squad felt like the entire movie happened at night.
The misplaced notion that neutralizing color sets the tone, rather than the writing. Nolan used a dark color palate for his Batman trilogy, but only because it coincided with the theme and tone of his movies that was created by the characters and dialogue.

I would give this a standing ovation if for no other reasons than balls and consistency.

You thought they conveyed that?
They literally had a 5-10 minute montage sequence in the movie of Superman saving people around the world while news clips played of people bad mouthing and criticizing him.

I'm late to the party on this "new" trailer, but that trailer is god awful. The jokes are even bad in it.

You all act like Zod would have just stood there and let him stop or clean up the damage he was causing. He wasn't Donkey Kong throwing barrels at Mario.

Besides, not sure what's in her dossier as a weakness. Sure, she deflects bullets with her gauntlets, but that's just because she can. I think if she can slam through a brick wall hard enough to bring it all down on her, get slammed and constricted by tank treads, and just shrug it off, I'm not sure bullets are going to hurt her. And she don't have no kryptonite.

Goddammit, this is a red letter day! I finally won an internet argument! I broke Breesus down and he is turning his back on that bright and colorful frippery of the Marvelverse and is joining me in the dark, intense world of the Snyder Dimension. OML and Freauxzen will only take another 200 or so BvS threads and they will join my new buddy, Breesus, and me. You'll see!

I think you're misusing the terms dark and intense.
If you mean dark like it's so dark it's hard to see what the frick is going on half the time in scenes...sure, Snyder knows dark. If you mean dark as in sinister, gritty, malevolence, etc as one would describe Nolan's Batverse, but specifically Joker...then, no. I no way are Snyder's movies dark. They are constantly trying to tell you they are by turning the lights out...but that isn't the same thing. As with most of Snyder's stuff, it's merely symbolism over substance.
They're also not really intense. Brooding? Sure. Far too self aware of their own importance? You betcha. Desperately trying too hard to be bigger than they actually are based on the story they have actually told on screen? Without question.
And that's the real problem for those of us that have not liked what he's given us. It's not that these characters could not be set in a truly dark world or scene could not have true intensity...it's that Snyder either does not understand what that really means or he's not the director that can actually do it. In his hands, these movies feel like they are desperately screaming "I'm IMPORTANT!!! Look at how EXCITING this is!! Does this LOOK COOL?!? EPIC!! EPIC!! EPIC!!!"
It's like a comedian on stage who desperately wants to be liked so much that they come off as needy. No one responds to that level of neediness.
