And I'm really enjoying it. Am I the only one who is put off by how greasy everyone's skin looks in this show? Either that, or their skin is splotchy, like Matt Murdock needs some Proactive Solution. Karen looks like she needs to wash her hair. I don't know if this is intentional, or if the makeup person needs to be fired.
Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin is really really well done. I'm only on episode 6, but I like how Fisk is being played as this awkward type of guy. He's not very sophisticated. He has no idea how to talk to the ladies. Yet, he has this horrible temper, and lashes out like a child when the Russian ruins his first date.
I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

Man, I love the development of Fisk's girlfriend in season 1. He can't become the Kingpin until he learns sophistication. It's one of the best slow burn origin stories for a villain.
And I love how ugly the universe is. It fits. It's Hell's Kitchen, and they've been left behind by the rebuilding of NY in the wake of the Avengers battle.

I think it's at least in some part to denote the much more gritty part of the Marvel Universe the show inhabits.
