I mean, it is superior to The Leftovers because that show is not very good.
West World is a good, solid entry into the HBO canon but it is not Game of Thrones.

West World was good, and I loved it. But it's not nearly as good nor complex as GoT, sorry. The whole "finding the maze" thing was a waste and ending the way it did makes it seem like they will have to pull a rabbit out of their arse to make a second season after what happened with all of the hosts at the end. And don't get me started on Maeve.

Leftovers was great but you can't compete with a show that has Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, and Jeffery Wright as main characters.

I was excited for season 2 as soon as season 1 ended but not so much anymore. Looking back I think it's a decent but not excellent show.
