That was an absolute horrible movie... Terrible acting on top of a stupid plot... Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this

Best movie I've seen this decade so far.
You only watched 1 movie in the last 10 years?

Over thinking scenes to be contrary does not make you "deep"
Deep? Haha I'm pretty sure he was dead after the 5th kick or so... She was absolutely mortified, you think he'd notice that.

Can't believe this thread's gone over a page without a call to ban you yet.
Fwiw...I loved Drive. Thought it was probably the movie of the year.

it wasnt horrible, but it didnt deserve the acclaim it got. the plot and sequencing was horrible

I enjoyed it. It was great at what it set out to be: a stylish, cool, and slick art film. The cinematography and soundtrack were absolutely phenomenal.

Let me guess, you're favorite films recently were The Avengers and The Hunger Games?
Drive is a work of art and one of the best films Ive seen in the last few years in this age of bad movies.

Well, I haven't seen The Avengers and I was disappointed in The Hunger Games, read the book and basically hated the movie.
You know me so well already.

That's crazy because I just got finished watching it as well. After hearing the hype for awhile, I was kind of underwhelmed. But I thought the soundtrack was awesome and definitely set the mood. Just wasn't that into the overall plot to be honest.

I don't hate the film, just fell that it's overrated
Agree. That it was mentioned in Oscar talk was and is ridiculous.

I'd be interested to learn what kind of hype those who jizz all over this mediocre pile were exposed to before they actually saw the film.

I was not exposed to any hype for Drive before I saw it. I saw one trailer before it came out and eventually saw it on DVD months later.
