Season 2 was solid, but overall this was not a good series. I get people love it; I just don’t get why. It’s nothing but mystery boxes for the sake of mystery boxes. M Knight Sham on crack

I liked parts of season 1 but found it excruciating to get through. So I just forgot about it for years. Then I recently watched season 2 and couldn't believe it was the same show, it was so much better and really mysterious and unique. Then season 3 starts and it was just awful and all these changes happened with no explanations or anything and I stopped around episode 3 and doubt I'll ever finish. I can't stand Nora.

I feel the same way sort of. I liked her at first but as time passed she became more and more of a bitch. I am glad about the ending though and I think maybe she changed in that moment to not be so bitter to the world? I dunno, I’m glad it ended the way it did.

I couldn't agree more. Wife and I watched this for second time during covid and it was so much more emotional for me the 2nd time. The 3 season arcs of the main characters are perfect. The soundtrack might be one of the best for a TV series. And the ending is perfect

Every time I explain this to my wife (who thinks she is definetely telling the truth), she says you just watched a show where 2% of the population disappeared, the main character continues to kill himself to become an international assassin in the afterlife, and then always proceeds to come back to life.

... but you can't wrap your head around there being a machine that takes you back and forth to the 2%?

No, I just can't

Definitely. Also I’m of the opinion she lied as well, but that’s her coping mechanism

Diff’rent strokes I guess, I watched the first season and it was incredibly boring and annoying. The smokers were like college atheists. And they created too many storylines with no resolution which is just lazy and irritating.

First season was by far the weakest. It picks up in S2 and resolves everything (for the most part) by the end.

Great show.

I got bored with it as well. Just stopped watching midway through the 2nd season. I wanted to like it, but didn’t

That's how I knew something about the show was truly special. I didn't know how I felt, but I wanted more of that. The acting was just off the charts good. Although the pacing felt "slow", I never wanted it to go faster.

Show deserves more consideration in GOAT discussions.
