So, apparently Warner Bros is doing their version of the Jungle Book scheduled to be released in 2017

this isnt based on the Disney movie. It is based on the Rudyard Kipling book.It is being directed by Andy Serkis
they are making a live action remake of the Disney cartoon though, it comes out next year and is directed by Favreau
