I gave it a read last night and it was better than I imagined it would be. While it differs a little bit from current Pre and Post New 52 incarnations- the character development and dialogue was very good. The power levels were not at her current "powerhouse" mode, but he laid all the groundwork and Steve Trevor was a good character. Interesting read if you're interested and doesn't take too long. If this link to Dropbox doesn't work- you can google it and find it through Reddit.

Powerful female protagonists is kinda his wheelhouse, not sure why anyone would be surprised he wrote a decent script.

Buffy was one of my favorite shows ever. I thought the dialogue would be too jokey and wouldn't take on the serious tones that the Ancient Greek martial society would demand. I was right in a sense, but he limited his light dialogue to Steve Trevor and the antagonists, and kept main character and Amazons to a proper sense of seriousness and discovery. I for one was a little disappointed with the tone in the Avengers. I liked the movie, but thought it could have had more dearth.
