According to Latino Review "Marvel execs internally are discussing that Levitt is who they figure would be ideal".

We'll just have to wait and see.

Scruffy doesn't see JGL as Dr. Strange.

I don't either.

Is it weird I kind of want Gary Oldman as Dr. Strange?

I like JGL, quite a bit and I love Strange...

But this is terribly casting. Would not work.

JGL should play Cyclops in the Cyclops story though. If they (read:never) make it.

Oldman might work, but he is too old and Scruffy would not expect him to accept a job like that.

Sadly, the answer to this....

Hugh Jackman

He would be more than perfect for Strange.

I don't like JGL for Strange either. But I'm having trouble thinking of anyone that would fit.

Jackman could work, but he is Wolverine and that franchise doesn't seem to be slowing.

Hence the "Sadly," part. I know that is an impossibility.

Ok then let's help marvel. JGL would be awful, but I could see:

Cillian Murphy - if they absolutely have to go young.
Rufus Sewell - If they have some age to work with, although he isn't marquee. Not even a bit.
Benedict Cumberbach - Would be interesting

Too gruff, he could work I think, just because he is a good actor, but he might be a little old for it.

I just thought about it, my new number one...

Richard Armitage

Make it happen Marvel. Perfect age, and could pull off the look.

Strange is a tough one to place.

You know who I think could pull off the look? Benjamin Walker. The guy who played the lead in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.

I don't know about his acting abilities and I doubt he could pull off the accent, although the accent probably isn't that important.

Benedict Cumberpatch - Yes
Liam Neeson -n Eh, too old
Luke Evans - Maybe
Johnny Depp - Stay away please
Viggo Mortenson - Interesting, but probably not
Ed Norton - Even more interesting, although his run as Banner holds him back.
Patrick Dempsey - Has the look, not sure if he's comic book material. Inspired though I could see it
