My favorite movie of all time, ever since I was a kid. Probably seen it upwards of 100 times.
It's hardly unheralded though. It's on every AFI list, etc.

I really like Roy Schieder as an actor, but had an opportunity to talk to him in person in a parking lot down by the docks and he was a complete arse.
