I hope they pull this off and its a modern version of Ed Wood (which is a masterpiece).
But this feels like it will be cheesy as hell - and maybe that will be the point.
Ed Wood works because Ed Wood was insane and making films during Studio Hollywood when almost no outsiders could. Tommy Wiseau is just a loser dude with some money who can't speak English...so his movie looks like a bad porno without the sex during home video revolution.
