Watching The Departed tonight and he’s so damn good. I may binge all things Jack next week.

What’s your favorite role? I hope he can do one more good movie.

No chance. He's finished and he's content.

So many great ones but if I had to choose one, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

The Shining. It's timeless and endlessly mysterious.

He hasn’t taken care of himself in old age like Hackman and Eastwood have. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has developed dementia by now.

He's 84 years young so probably done. Haven't watched the NBA in years & wonder if he still sits front row at their games.

If he has been absent from Lakers games for a prolonged period of time, that should tell you something about either his physical or mental health.

But I honestly wouldn’t know. Anybody know if he still attends?

I read somewhere a few years ago that he quit acting because he couldn't remember his lines.

He rarely attends anymore - but has been sighted at a few games the last few years.

Kobi's last game was the last time I really remember seeing him at a game... But I also haven't tuned in to 10 seconds of an NBA game in years.

I think his last movie was that terrible movie by James L Brooks with Reese Witherspoon where she was supposed to be a pro softball player something. Can't even remember the name. I think it came out about 10-12 yrs ago.

After The Deoarted, Nicholson really began getting frail and his voice began to go.

He's still one of the 3 or 4 best screen actors of the last 50 years...and possibly the best. Very very few actors in modern Hollywood could take over a scene like he could. He also had impecible taste for directors and scripts. There's a reason Dicaprio has basically modeled his career after Jack's.

Him, DiCaprio, Freeman, and Pacino are the top four to me.

He’s iconic in so many great roles in which the movie just wouldn’t be the same with another actor.

One movie that was really good but not as great as some of other films was “As Good As It Gets”, co-starring Helen Hunt.

The movie may not be as good as “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, or “A Few Good Men”, but “As Good as It Gets” simply could not have worked with any other actor.

Damn he was good in that role. He was able to deliver those cheesy lines with such style and panache and his ridiculous character arc was all totally believable because of his performance.

Way too many good movies by him to pick a favorite.

Some of his movies I have really enjoyed are:

"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"
"Prizzi's Honor"
"The Shining"
"A Few Good Men"
"Goin' South"
"Hoffa"
"The Bucket List"

If I had to pick one I'd watch the most, it would be "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". Not only was he good in that movie, but is also had a great cast of other actors.

Love that movie. It's pretty much perfect for that genre. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.
