Is there any chance of a film adaptation of C.S. Lewis' "Space Trilogy"?

Only problem I could see is the second book (only six characters, four of which are always naked).

The first two could probably be combined. I think the final book needs to be a film by itself.

I've thought about this several times but I don't think it can really be done.
The story is supposed to be more thought provoking than entertaining and that is very difficult to accomplish on screen.
