John J. Rambo: frick the world.

oh buddy, if you only knew what the finale was going to be

*ETA: John Wick may get some nominations, but it was a much better overall movie and not nearly as psychotic-extreme. i don't consider john wick as much of a "guilty pleasure" as it's a solid action movie that was pretty monotone with some nice dark humor

No reason to call it a guilty pleasure. Rambo is a legit great movie.

I have never actually seen the last film. I have been meaning to, though.

When he shoots that dude with the exploding arrow, I grinned so big it gave me a headache.

I can't convey how much I enjoyed it when I watched it, halfway through an OEF deployment. Marines and sailors were gathered around a laptop screen and going nuts at the over the top, gratuitous action. I can't imagine watching now in my home theater that it would be the same.

The death count rises to hundreds in this one. He completely wrecks the enemy. Its fricking Rambo.

I've seen Smokin Aces dogged on this site before, if consensus is that it isn't good then that's my pick.

My wife walked in on the scene where he shoots the guy point blank in the front seat of the jeep with a .50 cal, made a heaving noise, and walked out when it was on HBO a bit ago.

Then I finished the movie in peace.
