I really want to start this series then I found out it's not on Netflix or Prime.

Definitely a fun show and I regret not getting into it sooner. I was able to get through four or five seasons and then I kinda skipped to the finale before it was kicked off Netflix.

It's only the best detective show ever and one of, if not the best, buddy comedies of all time. If you get Ion Television, reruns are shown nightly from midnight to 2:00am. So, wait for it......! You know that's right. C'mon Son!

I've heard it both ways.

I'd have to go with Monk.

But Psych is close to Scrubs in terms of buddy comedies.

People wildly overrate on here, but it is a really fun show. It's like TV junk food. And there ain't nothing wrong with a bag of Cheeto's.

The junk food comparison is valid, but Cheetos? Really? At the very least Psych is the Fries Quatro Queso Dos Fritos of junk food.

It's more like a pineapple smoothie.

I like the classics. Cheetos are awesome. And I'm glad it inspired a pineapple comment.

I do like the show, but it doesn't really hold up to scrutiny. It's just a fun hour and the entire series is essentially wish-fulfillment. So I'd definitely tell anyone to check it out. It's fun, and we do seem to be lacking in fun shows right now. Even funnier shows like Silicon Valley are so much more stressful.

This world needs more shows like "Psych".

Everything has gotten either too serious or too "edgy". We need some simple silly comedies. A little smart writing, a lot of not taking itself seriously, a little 4th wall breakage here, a little heartfelt moment there, etc. Sure would be nice if said show also came without a cacophony of f words, nudity, and violent blood splatter. Pretty sure the only current TV shows meeting those requirements are "Rick & Morty", "Silicon Valley", "The Goldbergs", "Brooklyn 99", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "Superstore", and "The Librarians".

It's almost as if the cable networks now think they're "too good" for comedy. Network TV has always been formulaic and lame for most comedies, but cable used to pick up the slack. Even established franchises like "Archer" and "South Park" are coming off of mediocre at best seasons.
