I can hardly find shite on there worth watching. If I choose to look at a comedian they suck. Close to canceling my subscription. Any decent movies on there?

Netflix is all about the shows. Tons of great stuff to watch on there. It's so cheap, that it's still worth it, if you only watch a couple of movies a month.

No. Out of the thousands of movies they have, there are literally zero decent ones.

I think there are lots of good movies on there. Recently I watched Chinatown, Rounders, Kingpin, and Submarine. As for shows, I also watched Lonesome Dove. What it shows you is a reflection of what you choose to watch.

Yea I guess I have watched a good bit of stand up. I've tried other standup and turn it off so I'm guessing it considers that I am interested.

Any other ideas for movies? Watching "thanks for sharing" about a sex addict.

Netflix has a pretty terrible default interface. They are too confident about their suggestion algorithms.

However, there is plenty of quality programming on Netflix for anyone that speaks English. You just need to figure out how to find it.

I would agree with that. I wish the interface gave me more freedom to view the content. It would better if there were filter options that used all the content they have on it sort of like a lot of old media software. There's probably stuff that I want to watch that I just have no idea it's there.

It seems like they used to value how you rated what you watched higher than they do now.

I know I've rated things 2* and they will pop up "based on your interest in X," or "because you watched X."

Bill Burr and Patton Oswalt aren't B rated comedians. Not to mention Jim Norton.
