Is Kathy Griffin showing signs of mental instability?

I watched her press conference today and it seemed like she was having trouble gripping reality. She really feels as though what she did should be fine by anyone and that she should be excused of any and everything because she is a comedian.

I agree. But she was obviously desperately trying to salvage her CNN New Years Eve gig, which is pretty much the only time anyone in America remembers she exists. Oops. But just wearing it would have been infinitely better for her than that nonsense she trotted out today.

Not only that, accept the consequences for your joke/stunt as well. I would've respected her a lot more if she stood up and said she stood by what she did even if it cost her that job at CNN.
I have no sympathy for her blaming Trump for her losing her job.

I think humility is one of the highest virtues. I think extreme humility is the path to personal growth and enlightenment. I can look back at my life and trace almost every misfortune to either my ego or how I dealt with the egos of others.
What I saw here, was a level of personal unhappiness and unenlightened narcissism that exceeds just a person struggling, that it reaches a pathological level. If you are familiar with the concept of the wise "old soul" think of the "Infantile soul" and you would have Kathy Griffin. There are a lot of true sociopaths and truly toxic people in this category. Avoid these people, they have almost nothing of value to ever teach you. You can not be equally yoked to these people. You have likely surpassed them by the time you reach early adolescence.
