And why did the kids need a tutor for the school they were missing for an international tournament? The tournament took place during the summertime.
I had to stop watching. I used to love this movie when I was in middle school. Now, I become so angry at everything that happens in D2. Goldberg over Julie the Cat? C'mon. Kid from Iceland only receiving a minor penalty for clearly breaking his stick over another kid's wrist? Goddammit Disney. The team is placed on a Wheaties Box before they even play their first game? WTF.

D 3 was a much better film. D 2 just had a great ending and a good villain in the Iceland team.

Ending is fine. Team Iceland was a horrible villain. I get that Disney probably wants the movie to do well in Canada, but Team Russia should have been the villain. I mean, if Iceland's only NHL player was kicked out of the league and chose to coach the country's Junior Goodwill Games team then the dude must be a bad coach.
