One thing I don't understand from the trailer

When the plane is heading toward him and is about to crash, why doesn't he run PERPENDICULAR to its flight path?

not like it is going to turn after him, it is crashing

Amazing.

Just got out

It’s worth your money.

To sound cliche but seriously.

THIS is what the big screen is for .

Just got out of the 7pm showing... I loved it personally. Cinematography was crazy good and the camera work did a great job of making it feel like you were on the ground there. I also appreciate any film that can take a super simple narrative and make it as great as possible instead of trying to tell a million convoluted stories. Also cool backstory with Sam Mendes’ grandfather re: inspiration for the film.

It’s very good.

The only negative is the movie feels very episodic, to me at least. Like “here is a trench, here is an adventure in the trench, here is a field, here is an adventure in the field.” The movie tried to combine all facets of the Western Front very quickly.

This movie doesn’t cover the whole war, just 1 single story that happens during the war. So yea, it could be spoiled

Some of y'all search for reasons to be upset. It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.

Just watched it. I thought it was a great film but not overwhelmingly wow great like everyone is saying.

It did have really great cinematography as well.
