I'm starting to like Ballers...

At first I thought it was pretty iffy. Bad acting and stupid plot lines.
But some characters are starting to grow on me. Ricky Jarrett is becoming a pretty funny character.
The Rock's character is starting to take charge as well.
Which is great because I had high hopes on the previews but the first two episodes were kinda rough.

I'm enjoying it more and more. I just went with it for the first two episodes, but caught myself looking forward to these last two episodes. the rock's partner is a bit annoying to me(I don't know if it's just the acting) but I like the rock and Ricky

Yeah and he played ball too. Really like this show but I can understand why some people might not like it.

Anyone doubt that Reggie is the "chick" that is blackmailing Vernon with the photos?

Glad I saw this thread, I just watched the pilot Monday night and was underwhelmed. I'll catch up over the weekend

nothing great but its a solid 30 minutes. My biggest beef with it is that it should be so much better.

Considering they showed him snapping off blackmail pics at the party, it is almost certainly him.

I like it alot too, just the white guy who works with the Rock sticks out too much.

I'll watch, last I saw was the yacht episode, and it just doesn't keep my interest that much. So far it has been Entourage with worse acting and less humor, at least to me.
