"You said The Walking Dead was a better show than Breaking Bad which could not be less factual."

Wow. His opinion that Walking Dead is better than Breaking Bad is indeed a fact.

For. Show to be syndicated and the actors, writers etc to get checks every month for life it must go five seasons. It's safe to say all getting paid for bb in syndication will have some hefty checks to cash each month.

It's not. I honestly don't get the love for that show. It's like Dr. Who. It's not terrible but it doesn't deserve all the hype everyone gives it. There are much better shows on television, and even on AMC.

you must have stopped after season 1 because this is dumb as shite

you want facts?

BrBa is the tied with Planet Earth on IMDB as the best series in the history of television

Ozymandias is (I believe) the only episode of any show to receive a 10/10 on IMDB

So the series finale of one of the supposed greatest shows ever had 2 million less viewers than a season 3 finale of what many have essentially said isn't a very good show.

Well Katy Perry and Kesha sell a lot more albums than the shite i listen to. Does that make their music better? No. Most people are simpletons.

how is this thread going so far?

I can image that a number of posters relate a good show with running forever and ever. Which is completely false.

I thought I read when they first announced season 5 was the final season the AMC didn't want to pay the money to produce the show anymore because it was getting too expensive.

Made more sense when they went for the money grubbing move of splitting the final season up and separating it by a year

Breaking Bad was 62 episodes. The 62nd element on the periodic table is Samarium. Samarium is used 2 treat lung cancer. Every little detail.

See what I'm saying, Sabi? So much detail. It's ridiculous.

It's not completely false. that's how TV used to be run, and the networks still work on this model. The cable shows have changed the paradigm. They now plan an ending instead of just going on and on until you no longer get ratings or get sick of doing it.

Maybe you can help me with organizing and explaining my "seven pages on a legal pad" dream that I think would make a good plot for a movie.

It's kind of a futuristic, save the world fantasy with my special powers thing.

Was hooked up to life support & 24 hour dialysis in intensive care when it occurred. God only knows what they where pumping into my arm.

which is why the majority of people my age steer clear of shows like CSI,SVU & the numerous other network shows that are made to appeal to the masses.

The day network tv dies will be a glorious one.
