Only kids movie out we hadn't seen. My god was this a bore and a chore. Great visuals, and that's it. Slow and tedious, almost zero humor. And it is too long.

No, you're thinking of Swiss Army Man.

The title alone makes me question this whole movie. It may sound trite, but why would Spielberg label it BFG? Put that in the script somewhere it can be explained without the distraction of wondering why I want to take my kids to see a movie that sounds like big fricking giant.

It's base on a book titled BFG.

Completely disagree. Excellent kids movie, meant to be full of innocence, and my kids had a riot with it. I enjoyed it very much as well.

Just looked it up. This was released past my childhood time. Maybe others have a fondness for it. Did y'all enjoy the book?

I saw it. Seemed like it had promise at the beginning but then it just fizzled out. The last part of the movie was just a slow plodding waste. Still not sure why he had his job and where where the female giants? I had way too many questions after it was over. Maybe it was just too childish?

Well, it's a movie for children based on a children's book written 50+ years ago. Would it kill you guys to suspend your belief for a little while and enjoy a film in the context that it was created?
